From solidworks concept to reality.

We moved in to the new house early 2021 and as soon as we were in I could see a games room being created in the back room. One evening I spotted the way the living room light hit the wall in "the dungeon" as it passed through the archway between the 2 rooms. Instantly I knew I had to build another arch.

I tried to explain the idea to my wife but decided to knock it up in solidworks as she was struggling to picture the design.

Well.. next thing you know i'm teaching myself how to work with timber and mdf and what started as an idea is now "the dungeon".

I even built a gaming table from timer, mdf and skirting board with 4 drawers for storage of gaming tools and the window seat opens up for further storage.
